Precision Sandusky Deck & Fence provides residential deck building, fence installation, and related outdoor structure services in Sandusky, OH and surrounding communities. Services include but are not limited to custom deck design and build, composite and wood deck installation, deck repair and replacement, vinyl and wood fence installation, pergola installation, and covered outdoor structures.
All services are subject to a separate written contract executed between the Company and the customer prior to the start of work. Nothing on this Site constitutes an offer or guarantee of service availability in a specific location or on a specific timeline.
Estimates provided by Precision Sandusky Deck & Fence - whether in person, by phone, or in writing - are based on the information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing is confirmed in a signed written contract before work begins. Estimates are not guarantees of final cost.
If unforeseen conditions are discovered during the course of work - such as structural damage, rotted framing, or permit requirements not apparent at the time of the estimate - the Company will notify the customer promptly and obtain written approval before proceeding with any work that changes the scope or cost.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing. Changes in material costs or project scope after the 30-day window may require a revised estimate.
Project start dates are scheduled after a signed contract and required deposit are received. Scheduling is subject to contractor availability, permit approval timelines, and weather conditions.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms - including any applicable fees or deposit forfeitures - are specified in your individual service contract. The Company reserves the right to reschedule projects due to weather, material delays, or other conditions outside our control.
The Company may also cancel or decline a project if site conditions, safety concerns, or permitting issues make it impractical to proceed. In such cases, any deposit paid for work not yet started will be refunded.
Payment terms are specified in your signed service contract. In general, projects require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods are described in your contract. Late payments may be subject to a finance charge as specified in the contract. The Company reserves the right to suspend work on projects with outstanding balances until payment is received.
In the event of non-payment, the Company may pursue collection through available legal remedies, including filing a mechanic's lien on the property under applicableOhio law.
The Company will obtain all required building permits as part of the agreed scope of work unless otherwise specified in writing. All work is performed in compliance with applicable local building codes and ordinances. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the property is accessible for inspections and that there are no private deed restrictions or HOA rules that would prohibit the proposed work. The customer should disclose any such restrictions before work begins.
The Company warrants that all work will be performed in a professional manner and in compliance with applicable building codes. Specific warranty terms - including duration and what is covered - are set forth in your signed service contract.
Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from any labor warranty provided by the Company. The Company makes no warranty beyond what is expressly stated in the written contract.
The Site and all information on it are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by Ohio law, Precision Sandusky Deck & Fence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or from services provided under a contract.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to services provided shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific project giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies to all claims, whether based on contract, tort, warranty, or any other legal theory.

Any unresolved dispute arising from these Terms or a service agreement shall be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration body, unless the claim falls within the jurisdiction of small claims court. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising from these Terms or from services provided by the Company shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Ohio.
